Nicole Winter is a Miami based contortionist and aerialist who began performing for and pleasing crowds at a very young age. She started training in ballet at age 4, and continued her dance education at Boca Ballet Theater and Dreyfoos High School of the Performing Arts. While dancing at Boca Ballet Theater, she had the pleasure of performing in classical ballets such as The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and Giselle to name a few. At the age of 14, she discovered her true talent and calling: circus arts. Dance will always be a part of Nicole’s life and artistic foundation as it has allowed her to perform high level contortion acts with the grace of a ballerina. Ballet had given her the edge and grace she needed to stand out in the circus world and at 16 years old, Nicole was accepted into the prestigious L’Ecole Nationale de Cirque in Montreal. She trained there for 2 years, majoring in contortion.
Upon returning to South Florida, she started performing professionally throughout the continental United States as a contortionist and dancer. In 2015, she signed with Cirque Eloize touring with their show, iD, as a contortionist and aerialist for 3 years. She has recently finished her first contract with Cirque Du Soleil where she was part of the creation process of two shows; Varelia and Syma. To date, she has performed on 6 continents and more than 35 countries. When Nicole is not on tour, she resides in Miami, Florida where she is focused on her new passion of combining circus and skydiving into a thrilling and unique new performance experience.
